Core Topics

Understanding the Scrum Basics

We'll start with an in-depth introduction to the Scrum framework and the Scrum Basics. Together we'll explore the fundamental principles, core values and the Agile Manifesto to understand how Scrum promotes flexibility, transparency and continuous improvement in teams. We'll also examine in which environments the introduction of Scrum makes sense and how you can successfully integrate it into your own work environment.

Online Course

Identify and understand roles

In this section, you will learn in detail about the three central roles in the Scrum framework - Scrum Master, Product Owner and Developer, to understand the Scrum Basics. We will explain the specific responsibilities, skills and contributions of each role and how they contribute to achieving project goals. Through case studies and role plays, you will get a clear picture of how the roles work together to strengthen team dynamics and ensure project success.

Online Course

Mastering artifacts

In the next step, we turn to the three primary Scrum artifacts - Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog and Increment - which form the second basis of the Scrum Basics. We will look at how to create, manage and use them effectively. I will show you how these artifacts create transparency in the process and enable regular reviews and adjustments. In practical exercises, you will apply these artifacts yourself to ensure that they set the right priorities and accurately reflect the progress of your project.

Online Course

Effective execution of Scrum events

Finally, the Scrum Events are missing to fully understand the Scrum Basics. Develop the skills to efficiently plan and execute all of the key Scrum events - including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective. You will learn techniques to maximize the effectiveness of these meetings so that each event fulfills its intended purpose. Through practical simulations, you will practice the structure, timing and best practices to ensure your meetings are productive and goal-oriented.
